On Sunday afternoon, October 30 at 4 PM, Lititz Moravian Congregation presented a Singstunde (traditional Moravian “Singing Hour” or “Singing Service”) in the Fellowship Hall. The historic 1787 David Tannenberg organ was used to accompany the singing, along with the church’s string orchestra. The choir performed two new editions of Herbst’s “Lititz anthems,” and the congregation sung heartily to fill the space with an incredible sound! We certainly made a joyful noise “to the Saints of God!”

Historic 1787 David Tannenberg Organ located in the Brother’s House of the Lititz Moravian Congregation, Lititz, PA. This instrument was built and dedicated the same year as the church building, on top of which sits the steeple that Tannenberg designed as well!
