Our first concert of the semester, Romantic Interludes in Song, was performed on February 25, 2017. See previous post for description, printed program, etc. Cantilena Women’s Choir opened the concert and, after a brief introduction, this video features four of their selections

On May 6, 2017, the choirs presented The French Choral Connection. See previous post for description, printed program, etc. The Brahms “Wie lieblich sind deine Wohnungen” from Ein Deutsches Requiem provided a thematic connection between the concerts.
University Chorale performed one of the most beautiful example of French repertoire ever written, Debussy’s Trois Chansons d’Orléans.
